Sugarloaf Update 12/10/12

Strait from the site:

Today was definitely one of those days to show up to the mountain early.   For a couple hours after lifts opened this morning the snow was falling at an alarming rate, and Sugarloafers rejoiced in the feeling of 3-4 inches of fresh powder under their skis and boards.  It was a short time frame to take advantage of conditions, because once late morning kicked in we received everything from sleet to freezing rain and everything in between.  Only in New England could you find such a mix.

After today, things are expected to cool back downover the course of the night and into Tuesday.  From there it looks like cold weather for the rest of the week, so expect snowmaking to resume sometime tomorrow morning.  Crews will keep blowing snow on Whiffletree and Haywire trails, with plans to focus on Spillway in the near future.

If you plan on hitting the slopes tomorrow you can expect nice cool temps in the 20's along with cloudy skies.  26 trails are scheduled to open, and groomers will cover as much terrain as possible over the night.

Ticket Prices this week are $54 for adults, and $39 for juniors/seniors and teens.
